Terraforming Mars – an official adaptation of the popular overseas board game about the colonization of Mars and the transformation of this planet into a suitable place for human habitation. The video game is presented in the form of a turn-based strategy, which provides sufficient time to think about further actions in order to extract maximum benefits. Options for playing are available both against artificial intelligence, which has several levels of difficulty, and against people using the Internet, local network or one personal computer when the players meet in person. An extensive list of achievements worth several dozen awards provides additional difficulties for those users who want to close all available content.

The gameplay is based on the competition of many large terrestrial corporations that are willing to spend huge amounts of money to make Mars look like Earth. The player will have to create an atmosphere suitable for life, transport various seeds, plants and animals to his own colony and equip the infrastructure for the most comfortable living of the colonizers. The goal of development is to receive rewards for completing various tasks before the rival company. Up to 5 factions can be located on the map at the same time in different proportions, for example 3 AI and 2 players, or 1 bot and 4 gamers.
