Donut Dodo

Developers Donut Dodo took inspiration from old-school arcade games, presenting an adventure in the classic 2D style of the golden era. The table of records will help the player find out how strong his abilities are on a dangerous journey. The gameplay is presented in the form of a light-hearted arcade game where you have to take control of Billy Burns, who works as a baker. He runs, jumps and climbs, trying to outsmart Donut Dodo and his group of helpers.

The central character confronts Master Dodo, who possesses a group of ignorant minions. The user needs to navigate the location, overcome traps and enemies, trying to get to the control point. The main task is to collect all the donuts in the least amount of time. The faster a gamer moves and picks up objects scattered around the area, the higher the chance of getting onto the leaderboard.

Levels are presented in single-screen form, where there is no camera movement. Each location has its own mechanics, obstacles, opponents and features. There is a bonus stage that opens upon completion of the main missions. The user will need to get used to the controls in order to successfully overcome dangers and collect donuts. The aspect ratio is old-school, and the pixel graphics have a 16-color palette.
