Knights Within

Knights Within takes players to a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is on the verge of extinction. This third-person shooter/slasher hybrid pits you against relentless hordes of Wraiths as the fate of humanity hangs in the balance. You’ll find yourself knee-deep in procedurally generated missions, each of which is a dance with death. As you progress, both you and your otherworldly enemies receive randomized modifiers that increase the chaos factor and force you to be on your guard.

The rogue-lite elements of the game come through in the customization options. You are not just a cog in a machine – you are a full-fledged knight, armed to the teeth with the most modern technologies. Mix and match gear mods to create gear that suits your playstyle. Do you like long distances? Give your armor stealth upgrades and upgrade your sniper rifle. Prefer to work up close? Strengthen your melee weapons and install additional armor.

Knights Within doesn’t force you to play through the game alone. While single-player is an option for lone wolves, you can also team up with up to three companions for some co-op carnage. Together you will solve problems, destroy waves of enemies and resist the threat of wraiths. The game offers two main modes that you can immerse yourself in. The standard mission-based mode has you completing missions as you fight to survive, while the Gauntlet mode allows you to save your progress between stages and ramps up the difficulty to ridiculous levels.
