The single-player story campaign is set in a world where both people and skeletons live, a universe filled with magic and unusual occurrences. The player finds himself on this planet after the main protagonist named Hildy began her journey along with a squad through the scorched lands destroyed by the war. The goal of the adventure of a young, warlike woman is to kill the Faceless Lord of Sorrows, the antagonist of the Bonfire project. He is responsible for many troubles that befell peaceful people, which is why he must be eliminated.

The hardcore nature of the game lies in the complexity of collisions with opponents, as well as in the procedural generation of locations and opponents. Due to the randomness of future adventures, the gamer is deprived of the opportunity to properly prepare for future challenges. This forces the user to adapt the builds of their players on the fly and develop tactics hastily. For victory in each battle, the player is awarded a reward in the form of various loot, for example, epic equipment, potions, and more.
