Brigand: Oaxaca

Brigand: Oaxaca is a hybrid of a first-person shooter, immersive simulator and role-playing game. The project has 3D low-poly graphics. Due to this, the title is reminiscent of computer action games of the late 90s and early 2000s. The action takes place in a world where a nuclear apocalypse has occurred. Events take place in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. The indie game combines elements of different settings. In it, firearms coexist with Voodoo magic, and not only mutant ghouls, but also demons roam the wasteland. The protagonist can jump on rooftops, steal, swim, control the weather, craft and upgrade equipment, shoot, throw weapons, pick locks, kill enemies and friendly NPCs, interact with the environment, and so on.

The campaign is approximately 40 hours long. There is also an editor that allows you to change an existing non-linear story and create a completely new plot. The video game Rogue: Oaxaca is reminiscent of the very first Deus Ex in its gameplay. The player’s actions affect the world around him. By the way, it is open here. At the very beginning, the user can create his own character by coming up with a name and distributing points among 14 skills. They are allowed to be pumped. As you progress, you can learn 80 abilities. The plot begins with the hero awakening in prison. First, the user needs to get out of the dungeon, and then he will be able to freely explore the area and interact with representatives of different factions. He will visit the city of Pochutla, dark poisonous caves, a banana plantation, a flooded coast and other places.
