Broken Roads

Broken Roads is a unique post-apocalyptic world where the player will have to face the cruelty of a new world in Australia. This is not the most favorable continent for survival, since in many ways nature itself, which will now gradually begin to take over previously residential cities, is a dangerous test for any traveler. In addition, the main danger to humanity is not the virus, not the walking dead or cataclysms, but the person himself.

A few years after the global catastrophe, people learned to live again. The government fell, the state was never formed again, and all the survivors were divided into gangs in which they were able to find their niche. Those who did not join anyone became their prey, slaves, free labor. Only the strongest and those who are capable of killing survive. A moral compass will indicate to the protagonist the most optimal activities for him and will give him advantages in conversation. It can change depending on decisions made during the plot.

Moral qualities of the Broken Roads character:

• Utilitarianism – feelings are set aside, actions, even morally difficult ones, are determined by utility, not ethics
• Machiavellianism – conducting politics using brute force, resolving conflicts using violence, disregarding all norms
• Nihilism is not bowing to authorities, constantly having one’s own opinion and opposing universal rules
• Humanism – human life is the highest value and its preservation comes first, avoiding disputes through negotiations, refusing to use physical punishment

All these qualities will develop as the chosen protagonist communicates with other survivors and persuades them to compromise and complete the necessary assignment. Almost always, only two characteristics are predominant. They will unlock new features and abilities of the hero, which will give him the opportunity, for example, to master an additional type of martial arts or become a local judge.
