Disaster Band

Disaster Band is a humorous rhythm game with 2D and hand-drawn graphics reminiscent of 2000s Flash games and old Internet memes. It has co-op and single player mode. Multiplayer available via the Internet is designed for 2-4 users. Players are allowed to choose their own musical instruments: violin, flute, trombone or cello. Gamers can perform on the same stage with their friends or join concerts of random users. Their jam sessions are reminiscent of school orchestra performances. The video game allows you to play any note you want at any time. In this case, the tonality can be violated. Their places in the world rankings depend on the skills of users (local leaderboards are also available). You can hone your skills or perform tunes incorrectly on purpose and just have fun.

The project has a dynamic sound engine. There are various built-in songs to choose from. DB also has the ability to load tracks into the game from your computer. In addition, you can write your own soundtracks via MIDI and insert them into a video game, as well as share your creations with others and play other people’s works created by the user community. The controls here are simple and intuitive. You can use a mouse or gamepad. The scoring and note recognition system is beginner friendly.
