Stepping into the shoes of an aspiring dwarven commander, you begin your journey as part of a meager duo. Starting with modest equipment and weak combat skills, you must defeat enemies, gain experience, collect gold, equip troops, hone their combat skills and strengthen your ranks. Each dwarven fighter can be created according to your wishes. By acquiring different equipment, their roles undergo amazing transformations. Some turn into an unshakable stronghold, receiving and withstanding powerful blows, others – into dexterous killers or skilled archers, and still others – into spellcasters who deal great damage, although they are vulnerable. The skill lies in customizing the equipment and disposition of the Dwarf phalanx. This feature allows you to easily change the composition of the legion and battle tactics. The result is an individual set of strategies that allows you to create a unique legion of gnomes.

Battles foreshadow a choice – after each skirmish, players choose one of three options for the development of events. Will you kill creatures to climb the ranks, invest in equipment, or summon new recruits? Each fork opens up its own prospects and pitfalls. As you progress through the game, you unlock gems that enhance your abilities. This means that in upcoming battles you will be awarded bonuses that enhance the effect of the chosen approach. But power has its price. As your Dwarf Legion grows in power, so do the number and number of enemies. Adaptation is the most important task: when changing enemy formations, change equipment and formations on the fly. Strengthen the front line when the enemy rushes to attack; sabotage the rear if magicians appear in it. The accuracy of the strategy increases the chances.
