IN FINAL FANTASY 4 Cecil, a dark knight who must oppose the dark sorcerer Golbez, is going to save the world from complete destruction. The enemy is trying to capture the crystals that give them special power, so the hero assembles a team during his adventure to destroy the enemy. The action will take place on a planet that is surrounded by various satellites and is made in the style of fantasy with the addition of science fiction. The fourth part received an updated Active time battle system, combining turn-based battles, the speed of movement of the heroes, as well as the reaction of the user himself. Each character received a backstory, depending on the chosen class, and there is also a well-developed storyline. The main feature of the game is that it is a reworked 2D version of the publication published in the 90s of the last century, which received elaborate graphics and many visual improvements, while maintaining the retro style.

The user is asked to lead a group of characters traveling around the world, performing various types of tasks in the process. There are a lot of locations implemented here, including cities and dungeons, where the team will have to engage in battles with villains and various types of monsters, as well as bosses who can attack in random order. The heroes themselves can attack, use special skills, defend, retreat and use objects during the battle. Each character has life points that are consumed in the process, after which the fighter is knocked down, but allies are able to heal them. To restore health, there are also spells, items and the ability to rest in any shelter. Having gone to the city, the group can purchase equipment from local shops that can withstand certain damage and weapons. The combat system is turn-based with real-time battles, where moves do not occur in a strict order, but the turn comes to the side whose units have the required speed indicators. You can also activate standby mode here to pause. Magic spells include destructive black and white magic, restoration, and summoning creatures. After winning the next battle, the player earns experience points, which leads to an increase in the level of the ward and pumping up his parameters.
