G-Darius HD

G-Darius HD is a 2.5D horizontal scrolling shooter. This is also the fourth part of the series. It was originally released on arcade machines and fifth-generation consoles in the late 90s. More than 20 years later, the developers re-released their creation and released it on computers. The gameplay is as follows. The user controls the Silver Hawk starship, dodges obstacles and shoots crowds of enemies that look like mechanical fish. Some enemies drop weapon upgrades. The main difference from other shmups is the ability to capture adversaries and force them to fight on your side. At the end of each zone there is a battle with the leader. After defeating him, you are given the choice of one of two levels. There are 15 stages in the game in total, and you won’t be able to see them all in one playthrough. Local multiplayer allows two players to play together via a shared screen.

G-Darius HD can be called a collection. This release contains the original arcade video game, an expanded version with the subtitle Ver.2 in the title, two HD remasters of these two titles and a console port adapted for PC. All of these games have received various improvements. The developers added a quick fire button, and also allowed gamers to adjust the shield capacity of their ship, adjust the health of enemies, and change the speed of the gameplay. The creators introduced new leaders and changed the behavior of old bosses. In addition, the developers added mid-bosses in certain areas of the maps. They also allowed you to review cutscenes (including endings) separately from the menu.
