The protagonist becomes the leader of the Dawn tribe, which, in search of a better life, goes deep into the forbidden lands. Here you need to survive using the city planning system, performing different types of tasks, which allows you to shape the characters of each character. In the process, it is necessary to develop buildings in order to ultimately obtain a powerful fortress that can withstand the onslaught of any enemy. You will have to act in difficult conditions, when monsters, dark forces and enemy factions are constantly attacking. Secondary tasks with procedural generation are also available here, and random encounters when the character himself goes beyond the boundaries of his settlement, for example, into the wilderness or to hunt for strange creatures living in the area.
The game offers a variety of scenarios with missions of varying complexity, and also has settings that allow you to challenge yourself and select goals for the size of levels, the number of raids, opponents, their types, initial resources and weather. The urban planning strategy is based on the health of each settler, who must be protected from disease and hunger, which affects their Burden and Sanity parameters. Having reached a low level of these characteristics, the inhabitants quickly panic and are able to stop obeying their leader. There are also elements of magic here, to obtain which you have to pray to the gods. Spells are used differently – for defense, for attack, which can quickly change the course of the battle in favor of the protagonist. Here you can also subjugate monsters, bring down fury on the heads of enemies, and hide your own territory from view.
