Ultimately, your goal is to escape, but the path to getting there is fraught with danger.

This top-down survival game pits you against the elements and mutated creatures. Looting and fighting are necessary for survival, but it is also necessary to develop your character’s skills. The island holds secrets to be discovered, and crafting will be your key to creating a fighting chance. The story unfolds as you build relationships with other survivors. A shadowy past involving a science experiment gone wrong emerges as you uncover the truth about the island’s infected inhabitants.

Expect the game’s difficulty to increase at night. Under the cover of darkness, zombies become more aggressive, forcing you to seek safe havens. Once you’ve captured them, you’ll be able to rest and regroup before venturing into the dangers that lurk in daylight. Various types of infected roam the island, each of which poses a unique danger. From the slow, wandering walkers to the fast and deadly Splitter, you’ll have to change tactics to survive each encounter.
