Hellish Quart

Hellish Quart is a fighting game with swords, and the gameplay is endowed with a sophisticated physics system. The characters use fencing techniques created using motion capture in the real world. Experience the role of a 17th century warrior and take on sabers, rapiers, broadswords and many other blades in the story campaign. Fight against artificial intelligence in single matches, arcade or fight with other players in multiplayer mode.

Main features of Hellish Quart:

• Elaborate 3D graphics, and all movements were scanned and transferred to the virtual world.
• Physics based sword fighting. Rag dolls fight among themselves and fight until the first blood, hit or death.
• All hits are calculated in real time.
• You are able to use various combinations by pressing key combinations, perform single strikes, lunges or block an opponent’s attacks.
• Even if you do nothing, the ward is trying to protect himself from the enemy’s blows.

The event takes place in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of the 17th century. The project uses 3D-scanned character models and their clothing. Fight with Tatars, Hussars, Raters, Musketeers, or play as each of them. During battles you have to rely only on your own blade. The blade can block attacks and keep you alive. Find your own style of passing, learn timing of strikes, technique, speed and use your wits to beat the enemy.
