In Imperator: Rome we will have to completely change the course of history. To begin with, you will have to choose one of the three existing power modes: monarchy, republic, tribe. Each of them has its own characteristics: a republic has its own senate, monarchies are ruled by a court, and tribal states are governed by clans.
To succeed in each mission, you will need little: remain faithful to the gods, manage your subjects, but do not forget to praise even the last worker, and think when you let a person near your leader. The main character controls your citizens, free peoples, tribal unions and slaves. All people will work, and the leader will interest them with his qualities, first of all, his oratory. Manage construction, control resources, plan political coups and don’t forget about the army and navy.
People in Imperator: Rome will have their own religion and culture. Some part of the population can be made into your army, some can be sent to help develop a new colony, some can be involved in improving the economy. Remember about barbarians and nomads who can destroy your lands! If you decide to fight rather than negotiate and conclude peace treaties, then plan your attack, since the game allows you not to fight in an open field, measuring your forces in numbers.
- Manage one of 400 states;
- Capture all 7,000 cities in North Africa, Southwest and Central Asia. Encroach on Europe;
- Give citizens and tribes what they really need;
- Distribute forces between provinces, because they produce unique resources;
- Follow military and religious traditions so that people will go to the last battle for you!
