Kingdoms and Castles

Kingdoms and Castles will allow you to take a grand journey into the early Middle Ages, when the first kingdoms were created. You are a small feudal lord who has to turn a small settlement into a large city and a well-defended castle, otherwise ruin cannot be avoided. The early Middle Ages is a period when Viking tribes begin to actively explore the territory of Western Europe. The sea robbers do not finish exploring new lands alone, since they are driven by the goal of robbing all coastal territories. The northern peoples cannot cultivate the land on their own, and therefore prefer to ruin their neighbors.

At first, your village is completely defenseless – there are no soldiers or decent fortifications. But gradually growing and increasing the economic and resource turnover, it is possible to build an entire castle from behind the village, capable of withstanding any attack and protecting its subjects even from a Viking army. To achieve your goal and not be afraid of enemies, you need to collect resources, including wood, stone, food, erect industrial buildings, shopping facilities and, of course, fortifications. Don’t forget about churches and taverns, which significantly improve the mood and morale of the population. The game developers also added mechanics for dynamic changes in weather conditions and time of day. Also, nature here is absolutely alive, for example, trees cut down by foresters grow back over time.
