Kingsvein beckons adventurers to delve into its depths. Players take on the mantle of the Sage Slayer, tasked with cleansing the corrupt castle city. Riding their trusty wyvern, they lead a customizable party of knights and mystics into tactical combat. The narrative immerses players in the mysterious silence surrounding the once prosperous city. The Sage Slayer must discover the source of the infection and destroy it. The game has an atmosphere of exploration: secret treasures and lurking monsters await around every turn, both within the castle walls and beyond.

Tactical combat forms the core of the gameplay. Players engage in deep, fast-paced combat, using clever strategies to defeat their enemies. Enemies drenched in blood, impaled on spikes, or a field engulfed in flames are just a few of the creative combat options. Customization isn’t just limited to combat. Players create their ideal team by choosing from 15 different classes, each with abilities that can be upgraded and passive skills that can be equipped. Exploration itself becomes an opportunity to demonstrate these abilities: characters can freeze rivers with magic, break through cave walls, or use throwing chains to overcome obstacles.

A faithful horse accompanies them throughout their entire journey, both in battle and outside of it.
