Mask of the Rose

History Mask of the Rose takes place in London in 1862. But this is no longer the city that you were used to, but an alternative version of it. Here, death is only a temporary inconvenience, rats can talk freely to people, and Hell is at arm’s length. The entire city is underground, where the sun has never shone and Queen Victoria has never appeared in her palace. New Masters have come to power, but no one knows anything about them. Moreover, a serial killer appears among the residents, who has clearly gotten the hang of it and has no intention of stopping. The main character will have to unravel its mystery, even if it means risking everything.

Due to the fact that Mask of the Rose is a visual novel, most of the time users will watch what happens without any impact. Dialogues and scenes play out on their own, so it’s easy to follow the development of the plot, paying attention to details. When a character enters into a conversation or expresses his thoughts without an interlocutor, his silhouette is constantly in the frame. Love lines will be an important component here, because the hero will flirt with the ladies at the first opportunity. And when it comes to personal meetings, the hero will need fresh onions. You can choose the combinations suggested by the system, or create your own combination, including gloves, a hat and a monocle (if needed). Each of the key characters has their own unique image, and in order not to fall out of the overall picture, you also need to come up with something specific.
