The storyline in Momodora continues after the events of the original trilogy, showing a demon infestation 5 years later. The village is attacked by hellish creatures led by the Ringer, causing the village’s Matriarch to send Momo Reynol on a long and dangerous adventure. The priestess is forced to investigate the bell, and also find the criminal who summoned the horde of evil spirits. The main task for the heroine is to ensure safety for civilians, as well as save the sacred Moon tree, which is the source of life.
Users will move the character around the map, exploring dungeons and forest biomes. You will have to engage in hand-to-hand combat with opponents, and also use a bow and arrow for long-range attacks. The girl must dodge attacks from enemies, and also use a combat system called “Sigil”, which will allow gamers to accurately select the desired skills for the protagonist. In the process of passing, you will have to face ordinary opponents and bosses, where you have to wait out several phases and look for your opponent’s weak points to gain victory.
