Rolling Sun

Rolling Sun – a simple, arcade adventure in a three-dimensional world with realistic physics, for the whole family and any hardware. The engine is modern – CryEngine. But the optimization is at a decent level, and as a result, the system requirements are small. The gameplay is inspired by the fast flight of Sonic from the series of projects of the same name. The backdrop of the trip will be ancient temples and buildings of tribes that lived on Earth many thousands of years ago – the Aztecs, Mayans and Incas.

The protagonist becomes a seemingly unremarkable round stone with patterns. As it turns out later, the soul of the powerful Sun God is imprisoned in it, as the name of the project hinted at. The goal of his adventure will be to find his opponent, who turned the main character into stone, and will turn out to be the antagonist of the “Rolling Sun”, the Moon God.

Thanks to an advanced physics model that accurately replicates the real behavior of a round object on surfaces, puzzles will be based on interaction with the environment. You need to show a good sense of the size of the ball to balance on thin areas or show a series of high-quality and error-free jumps to overcome chasms. As you progress, you will encounter power-ups for the protagonist, adding the ability to double jump, throw in the air, and so on. With the discovery of new stone skills, obstacles to the search for the evil deity will become more complicated, which will not let you get bored.
