Salt and Sacrifice

Salt and Sacrifice is a hardcore action platformer inspired by the Souls series. You will play as a hero called the Marked Inquisitor. He sets off on a journey to the West to find and destroy the dark magicians. Defeating enemies will require you to create new types of weapons and armor from their remains. The flesh and bones of killed creatures and magicians make it possible to craft unique weapons with various abilities.

The gameplay includes elements of a roguelike and role-playing adventure. You need to level up your character and unlock new skills. As soon as the protagonist of Salt and Sacrifice gets out of the temple, a bloody and gloomy elemental pandemonium awaits him. The main task is to prevent the rebel magicians from plunging the kingdom into chaos. You will need to explore the temples, villages and dungeons of the ancient empire.

You must fight using dozens of unique types of melee and ranged weapons. The hero masters runic art, which allows him to use magic against enemies. He deprives dark magic of its destructive properties and uses it for good against monsters. The world consists of many biomes, hiding places and secrets. You will need to overcome traps and obstacles. Powerful guards pose a particular danger. There is a cooperative mode, and a chaotic type of PvP battles is also available, where you have to take the side of one of the warring factions.
