SpaceEngine – a space simulator that puts at your disposal a photorealistic open space that simulates the Universe. The gameplay of SpaceEngine can be described as an interactive planetarium with procedural generation. Explore the far reaches of space, visit planets and fly on a hyper-speed shuttle.

The simulator simulates the vastness of space on a 1:1 scale. Everything is available in the game: billions of galaxies, nebulae, stars and planets – go anywhere and explore any part of the universe. Visit neighboring galaxies located near the solar system. Fly as close to the black hole as you can. Explore parts of space a billion light years from Earth, visit parts of the galaxy containing septillion planets, and much more.

Each planet is procedurally generated, providing random terrain with detailed textures. All the objects that you see in the sky, be it stars, planets, the moon, asteroids, comets, black holes, clusters and nebulae – everything is available in the game. The gameplay was created based on data obtained from NGC/IC, Messier, HIPPARCOS, GAIA, Gliese, Kepler, MPC and other sources. Supports virtual reality devices such as HTC Vive, Valve Index and WMR, allowing you to further immerse yourself in the gameplay.
