To infinity is an atmospheric horror project that involves many elements used to create suspense and a sense of fear for the gamer. The developers of this game are little-known programmers from an independent studio based in Germany. Thanks to the first-person camera, the gamer seems to be in virtual space in the place of a virtual protégé. It also has a positive effect on the feeling of anxiety and fear from the events depicted in the story campaign, designed to be played alone.

The setting for the environmental elements is the surroundings of the First World War. The creators decided to add otherworldly forces to their story, which resulted in the appearance of various creatures hiding in the trenches on the battlefields. The visuals and sound in an unusual style add surrealism to the world. The main locations for the nameless protagonist to move around are abandoned territories, where quite recently there were fierce battles between two factions at war with each other. The ground is dug up with trenches, around there are shell craters, decomposing corpses, exploded equipment and other objects that accompany the destruction of war. The gamer will have to solve a huge number of puzzles of different devices in order to find ways forward along the storyline.
