Zortch

Zortch takes you on an unexpected journey, where the line between horror and comedy is as blurred as the fate of the main character. Zortch Maxinum, a custom chef, amateur engineer, and professional slacker, finds herself embroiled in a sinister alien plan. Tired of the monotony of everyday life, she decides to go on an inexpensive vacation, but realizes too late that her destination is a trap designed to capture people so aliens can devour their brains.

Zortch is a single-player first-person shooter game filled with dark comedic elements and spine-chilling horror scenarios. The game will take you on an exciting journey through a sci-fi universe, where gamers must help Zortch escape from her captors or become a victim of their sinister plans. The features demonstrate its detailed and addictive gameplay. It runs on a special engine designed for low-end machines, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone. Combat-heavy gameplay is the norm, and six difficulty modes, ranging from very easy to extreme, provide a challenge for users of all skill levels.

As Zortch, players have access to nine weapons, including a grenade launcher, trypamine, plasma pistol, and double-barreled shotgun. It also features a unique live lightning bolt that brings an intriguing twist to the traditional shooter genre. The project offers a wide range of gaming opportunities across 15 levels, including five challenging boss levels. Featuring over 30 types of enemies, including giant green brain-sucking aliens and a 20-foot-tall cyborg flatworm bounty hunter, players will never be short of foes. Additional features such as power-ups, review slider, letterbox mode and custom violence mode add additional aspects to the gameplay. The latter allows players to customize the visuals of the violence, including the ability to replace blood with confetti or ketchup.
